Round 1, Gover-Nate-R was all about Governors, people names Nate and Arnold. Next Christmas I think we’re totally going to have a Jingle All the Way watch party followed immediately by Predator. Suck it Trebek! and Planned Parenthood Pizzaplex led this round with 9 points each, but the rest did pretty well too. Only a handful of teams scored below 7.

Audio round this week, I Will Always Love You, had a good mix of some UB40, LCD Soundsystem and Nate Dogg. Not a very solid round for anyone. High score was a 14 and Whitney Houston: We Have  a Problem and Kevin Costner’s Failure were the only ones to double up.

Round 3, Houston We Have a Problem (we had to do it), was all about Houston’s and Whitney’s. I still can’t believe that show took Community’s time slot… Everyone did well, but Chris Brown Hit Me at the Grammys took the lead with 9.

Visual round, Movie Helmets, was a pretty straight forward one. Not too difficult, but only 4 teams got a perfect 8. Way to go you guys!

Math was the topic for round 5! Simple stuff, I just asked basic math questions, you had to tell me the numerical answer. Seemingly simple at least. Average score was about a 6-7 and only 3 teams scored 9 points.

Final round, yes, General Knowledge. Lots of Geography tonight, a little Mike Tyson’s Punchout and we now all know the ‘f’ in LFO stands for Funky. Everyone did unbelievably well. Audio round this week was on Unnecessary Greatest Hits (or Greatest Hitz for the Limp Bizkit question). This was a tough one, yes, Bruce Willis, Aaron Carter and even Shaquille O’Neal had a greatest hits album and Mark Zuckerbush Announces Facebook is Going Pubic won not only the award for annoyingly long team name, but also the high score of round 2 with 17.

Time for round 3, This day in history! We had some fun stuff happen, I guess. But most importantly, we now know when Pauly Shore’s birthday is. Way to go Facebook IP ‘Oh’ Face you had the high for this round with a near perfect 11.

Celebrity Family visual round was by far our hardest. Most teams only managed to get about 50% but this round did see our first and only perfect round of the night. Way to go White Dog 12 on the perfect 8 out of 8!

Fifth round was a Mystery! and I was amazed by how fast you figured it out. The answers were Amy Fisher, Waynes World 2, He’s Just Not that Into You, Donnie Brasco… and with only that someone figured out the round was all about Drew Barrymore. I have no idea how.

Final round, General Knowledge as always. Lots of geography with a bit of Tango & Cash and football mixed in. Everyone did really well with 18 as the high score and nobody scoring below 11. Let’s see who your winners are:

Round 1 this week The Umpire Strikes Back was all about Star Wars and Baseball. A bit of a tough round, but teams Sons of Sandusky and Interracial Same-sex Handholding both managed a near perfect 9 points. Not bad, not bad at all…

Audio round on The Number 2 Hits of the 80s was a fun one. I really just liked it because we got to hear, not only Eddie Grant, but also Rockwell and Ton-Loc all in the same round. Awesome, I know. Sons of Sandusky rocked this round with a perfect 20 out of 20, way to go guys. The rest did great too though, nobody scored lower than 12.

Third round, Media on the Map was a bit tougher. Basically it was 12 points on books, movies, tv shows and songs with a geographical location in the title. Nobody did fabulous, but everyone held there own around the 7-8 point mark.

Visual round this week on Celebrity Mug Shots. Every team did amazing, but the only perfect 8 went to The Real Housewives of Travis County. 

Round 5, was my favorite, a Mystery Round! it was a tough on though, I think we were about 8 questions in before someone finally got it. Way to go Interracial Same-Sex Handholding you knew it was all answers that contained the names of members of the Wu-Tang Clan! Coincidentally, you were also the highest scoring team for the round with 9 points!

Last round of the evening, General Knowledge for 20 points! It was a toughy with questions ranging from Brett Favre to Sean Penn, James Garfield to the Romanian flag. High score of 16 wen’t to Cruz Alta & Pineapple Express, but was it enough to take home a win?

Round 1, This is the End was all about THE END! From Highlander to Howard’s End, Chaucer to the Ramones, we had a good mix of everything end-y. Pizza Chowdah rocked this round, they scored 9 points and were the only team to get more than 6.

Audio round, Fat Beats, featured songs that involved food and/or The Fat Boys. I’m beginning to realize that we have way too many Rolling Stones songs in round 2, I think I’m going to retire them (especially Start Me Up) for a bit. Team Hipster Buttons did a phenomenal job with 17, no one else made it higher than 13.

Moving into round 3, the Media on the Map. Books, movies and music that had a geographical location in their title. We also had our newest quizmaster Zack read half of this round, I thought he did a great job, you’ll likely be seeing him at some of our other quizzes around town. Leaders for this round with a near perfect 11 were Lil’ Sebastian and Sugar Tits.

Visual round, Dudes with Teeth! You just had to name the dudes based on their teeth. This one might have been a bit too easy. All but one team scored a perfect 8, sorry Danger Rangers.

Round 5, a MYSTERY ROUND! One of my favorites to do. It took you guys awhile, but someone finally figured out that they were all people mentioned in Billy Joel’s “We Didn’t Start the Fire” way to go Nick from Pizza Chowdah for figuring that one out.

Last round, #6 General with questions on the Cruel Intentions, The Sopranos and Northern European Capitals. Lil’ Sebastian and Please Don’t Leave were our leaders this round with 15 and 14 respectively, but was that enough to take home the gold? Lets find out:

Round 1 this week The Wizard of Oz, was a fun one. Who didn’t love that movie growing up? From Glinda the Good Witch to the Washington Wizards, I think we pretty much covered it all.

Audio round #2 was all about songs that Counted In, I’m proud that someone knew Sam the Sham & Pharaohs but I still can’t believe how few of you got Raspberry Beret.

Beverly Hills Cop was our round 3, I loved that movie. Anyway, some people were nervous that they’ve never seen it, but fear not, there were only 3-4 questions on that wonderful film series, the rest were on actual Cops and things from Beverly Hills.

Picture round on non-existent, sorry dudes, printers suck. But we made the most of it with another audio round! A Bevis and Butthead one! Aren’t they so trendy now listening to MGMT…

Freaks & Geeks was our round 3 and I think it freaked some of you out, ha! (not funny) Anyway, some people were nervous that they’ve never seen the show, but fear not, there were only 3-4 questions on that wonderful series, the rest were on actual Freaks and Geeks.

Picture round on Green Stuff was a fun one. Most of you did really well, a few people missed the Great Gazoo, but that’s okay I forgive you.

Fifth round was another that split the audience, The Wire, you either loved the show or knew nothing about it. Luckily we also slipped in a bunch of consume electronics questions in there, so even if you never saw the show you still managed to get a few right.

Finally, the round that separated the men from the boys, our General Knowledge round worth 20 points. We had questions on Muhammad Ali, Tom Hanks and Jan from the Brady Bunch, so I’d say it was a good mix. Let’s see who your winners are:

Round 1, Who’s the Boss? was all about Tony Danza, Bosses and.. you know, stuff like that. Fun fact: Who’s the Boss? launched the careers of both Leah Remini and Halle Berry. The bad news for this round was that you all did horribly, but the good news is that you ALL did horribly, so everyone was in the same boat.

Audio round, Count On It, featured songs that counted. Simple as that and there are a lot of them. I can’t believe more people didn’t get the Prince song. We probably play that every week! Team Garbanzo Beans took home the high score award with 15 points. Next closest was Fuck Yo Face with 13.

Pre-third round is when we did our Chug Off! I told you guys to get beers, we chugged them, the fastest person won a Who Wants a Dollar? poster. Sorry, we’ll get better prizes next time, but in any event, I thought it was fun. See:

Moving into round 3, the Moves Like Jagger. Twas a round about Mick Jagger, Maroon 5 and dancing. That Sounds Like My First Time really knew their way around this one scoring a near perfect 11.

Visual round, The Nose Knows, was a bit tricky. Or at least the first one was. Nobody knew who Postman Pat was, but almost every team got the rest scoring 7 points.

I think we did a drawing contest here or something. For best poster design? I dont quite remember, we unfortunately didn’t take pictures so we’ll just move right along.

Round 5 on Zoolander! From Mugatu’s key tie to David Bowie’s walk off, we pretty much covered the spectrum. And learned from Rufus, Brint and Meekus’ mistake that we should never involve ourselves in a gasoline fight.

Round 1, Arrested Development, wasn’t just about the show, it was also about celebrity arrests. You guys did really well on this round, and I know have a new found respect for Daniel Baldwin.

Audio round, The Konami Code Mystery. This round was a fun one, the songs were pretty easy, but the Mystery, very hard. I think we were about 8 questions in when one of you guys finally realized all the songs together made up the Konami Code! Way to go TEAM APOLLO, at least I think it was you guys who figured it out.

After round 2, we decided to have a little fun with an intermission chug off!

Round 3, You Say You Want a Revolution, all about The Beatles and Revolutions. From the crossing of the Delaware to Thomas the Tank Engine, I Think we covered just about everything on this round. We also decided to give away another prize via creative challenge. You just had to draw what you thought would be the most awesome t-shirt ever. And you have very strange taste in clothing. Pretty much everyone drew a penis, except one team that strayed from the norm and drew a vagina. You guys one for your originality.

Round 4, Picture round on Kid Actors. Most were pretty easy, although you struggled a bit with Curt and Courtney and Keanu Reeves. I think everyone got at least 5 though, so pats on the back for you.

Fiff round was on everyones favorite vegetable, PIZZA! Pretty simple round for the most part, I think everyone got at least 6 with the top team getting a near perfect 9. Now it was time to give away our big prize!

We split the room in 2 and had you guys race to form the first 6 person pyramid.
