Hey everybody! We’re working hard trying to get the weekly blogs back up and running like it used to be. Here’s hoping next weeks quiz will make it on here too. Last night was a blast as always. Had a somewhat smaller turnout (okay, our smallest ever), but that’s okay it was still a great time.
Round 1, Who’s the Boss? was all about Tony Danza, Bosses and.. you know, stuff like that. Fun fact: Who’s the Boss? launched the careers of both Leah Remini and Halle Berry. The bad news for this round was that you all did horribly, but the good news is that you ALL did horribly, so everyone was in the same boat.
Audio round, Count On It, featured songs that counted. Simple as that and there are a lot of them. I can’t believe more people didn’t get the Prince song. We probably play that every week! Team Garbanzo Beans took home the high score award with 15 points. Next closest was Fuck Yo Face with 13.
Pre-third round is when we did our Chug Off! I told you guys to get beers, we chugged them, the fastest person won a Who Wants a Dollar? poster. Sorry, we’ll get better prizes next time, but in any event, I thought it was fun. See:

Moving into round 3, the Moves Like Jagger. Twas a round about Mick Jagger, Maroon 5 and dancing. That Sounds Like My First Time really knew their way around this one scoring a near perfect 11.
Visual round, The Nose Knows, was a bit tricky. Or at least the first one was. Nobody knew who Postman Pat was, but almost every team got the rest scoring 7 points.
I think we did a drawing contest here or something. For best poster design? I dont quite remember, we unfortunately didn’t take pictures so we’ll just move right along.
Round 5 on Zoolander! From Mugatu’s key tie to David Bowie’s walk off, we pretty much covered the spectrum. And learned from Rufus, Brint and Meekus’ mistake that we should never involve ourselves in a gasoline fight.
